Nexus Integrity provides cathodic protection and integrity services for energy and infrastructure systems across the United States. As the company continued to expand, they needed a digital presence that better reflected the quality of their work, technical expertise, and modern approach to solving complex infrastructure challenges.
The goal of this project was to redesign their website to better communicate what the company does, who they serve, and how their services connect across multiple industries and markets.

The main challenge was not only visual design but overall structure and communication. The existing website did not clearly explain the full scope of services offered or how those services worked together. For many visitors, it was difficult to understand what the company actually did and how comprehensive their capabilities were.
Another key issue was positioning. Nexus Integrity operates with a strong internal process where all services are handled from start to finish by their own team. This level of control and consistency is a major differentiator, another thing not clearly communicated in the previous experience.
In addition, the company serves multiple markets including midstream gas, distribution systems, power, and renewable infrastructure. The previous site did not effectively organize this information, which made it harder for users to quickly find relevant details.
The primary goals for the redesign were to improve clarity, strengthen credibility, and create a more intuitive structure for complex information. The website needed to present technical services in a way that was easy to understand without oversimplifying the work itself.
It also needed to better communicate the company’s internal process and reinforce trust with potential clients by showing the depth and consistency of their capabilities.
The design approach focused on clarity, structure, and restraint. Instead of relying on heavy visual elements or industry clichés, the goal was to create a clean and modern experience that allowed the content to lead.
I started by restructuring the content so that services, industries, and capabilities were clearly separated but still connected. This helped create a logical flow for users depending on what they were trying to find.
A major part of the project involved reorganizing the site architecture. Services were grouped in a way that reflected how clients actually think about their needs rather than how the company internally describes them.
Markets were also given a more prominent role so visitors could quickly identify relevance to their specific industry. This helped bridge the gap between technical offerings and real world applications.
The visual direction was intentionally minimal and professional. The goal was to support the technical nature of the company without distracting from the content.
Typography, spacing, and layout were used to create a sense of structure and reliability. The interface was designed to feel precise and organized, reinforcing the company’s focus on accuracy and technical expertise.
The Homepage was designed to provide a clear overview of the company and guide users toward services and markets without overwhelming them with detail.
The Services Page were structured to explain complex offerings in a more accessible format while still maintaining technical accuracy.
The Markets Page was created to help users quickly identify where Nexus Integrity operates and how their services apply within each industry.
The Why Nexus Page highlights the company’s credibility, experience, and end-to-end internal process that sets them apart. It also communicates their nationwide reach across the United States and reinforces their position as a leader in the industry.
The final website provides a clearer and more structured representation of Nexus Integrity’s capabilities. It improves how users understand the company at a glance and creates a more intuitive path for exploring services and industries.
Most importantly, the new experience better reflects the company’s technical expertise and the consistency of their internal process, helping position Nexus Integrity as a trusted partner in the energy and infrastructure space.
